One of the most difficult parts of many peoples training is lack of access to professional coaching. Maybe you get to a workshop every now and again or a coach comes through town. The majority of the time, though, it's just you and your partner- and maybe those around you-trying to figure out (read: arguing about) what’s going wrong, and how to fix it.
Not any more.
We’re here to help you take the guesswork out of your training by joining the S.A.S.S; the Standing Acrobatics Super Squad. We’re starting small to ensure that each partnership gets the attention they need, so right now we'll be capping this program at 10 pairs.
Cost is per pair.
Level 1 students will receive 1 training plan for the month and up to 14 feedback videos a week.
Level 2 students will receive 2 training plans per month and up to 30 feedback videos a week.
Level 3 students will receive 4 training plans per month and up to 50 feedback video sessions a week.
What Do I Get?
Each level will receive the following:
- Custom training plans for your partnership based on your goals.
- Up to 50 video reviews of your practice a week
- Individual strength and mobility plans for the base and flyer specific to their needs
- Access to a private FB group to engage with other students and have your questions answered by the coaches.
- Free weekly in depth tutorial videos
- Direct access to your coaches via FB
CUSTOM TRAINING PLANS
We’ll create a personalized acrobatic-technique plan for your partnership based on an initial assessment video you’ll send to us. This plan will include easy-to-do but hard-to-master exercises to help solidify your practice and give you the tools, knowledge and experience needed to achieve the tricks you want. Each exercise will have a video to make sure you know how to perform the exercises correctly.
INDIVIDUAL STRENGTH & MOBILITY PLANS
In addition to partner exercises and drills, we’ll develop a series of specific and targeted strength exercises, mobilizations and stretches to address what we think is going to help both base and flyer get better, faster. Each exercise will be demonstrated and explained in a video, so you know exactly what you need to do.
These plans will be updated once a month, as you progress, to ensure you never stop getting better!
Our video feedback service has already proven effective and has helped people (some of whom we’ve never even met!) unlock new tricks.
Here's how it works: You send us a video of the best and worst attempt of each exercise in your training plan, we have a look at them, and we'll send you back detailed feedback videos with annotations to show you what you're doing right (or wrong!), we'll give advice on what to change for next time as well as make recommendations on drills or exercises you should be doing.
ACCESS TO A PRIVATE FACEBOOK GROUP
You’ll also be given access to a Facebook group where you can post unlimited questions, short videos of training, and anything else you want us to look at. We’ll be there answering your questions and offering advice. And—because we’re millennials—we’ll literally be on our phones and accessible all the time. You'll also be able to engage with the other students in the program and share your successes and struggles with a group of like-minded individuals.
We're also hoping to use the Facebook group to give our students the freedom and ability to shape this program to make it the most useful for them. We're always open to feedback, and the Facebook group will give you the opportunity to help us create the best training possible for you.
IN DEPTH TUTORIALS
Every week we'll be asking the group to let us know what they'd want a more detailed tutorial on. We'll go away, and in our inimitable style, record a detailed, in-depth tutorial on that very subject!
Who Is This For?
- Our online coaching will work best for people working in a dedicated partnership and are able to practice together 2 or more times each week.
- You should have a good level of partner acrobatics already. You should be able to hold a stable standing H2H for at least 10 seconds. This style of training will not suit absolute beginners.
- You understand that in order to achieve higher level skills you must be willing to put in the work and to focus on the details.
What Do I Need To Do?
Once you've made your purchase, you will receive an email with a folder full of videos and a .PDF document with instructions on how to submit your initial video to us, and instructions for the software we'll use to deliver your training plans and feedback videos. Once we get the notification you've subscribed, we'll add you to the Facebook group and you're all set!
What if I hate it?
We'll be happy to offer a pro rata refund for anytime you have left, minus a $50 admin fee but you will lose access to all the online material and exclusive Facebook group. Your month won't start until we receive your submission videos or 7 days after we receive payment, whichever comes first.
